What is Bath Tea?

Bath tea is a wonderful way to enjoy the benefits of herbs and salts in your bath. Bath tea can help you relax, soothe your skin, detoxify your body, and boost your mood. There are different types of bath tea, depending on the ingredients you use. Some common ingredients are:

- Epsom salt: This salt can help ease muscle pain, reduce inflammation, and improve blood circulation.

- Sea salt: This salt can help cleanse and exfoliate your skin, as well as provide minerals and trace elements.

- Baking soda: This ingredient can help soften your water, neutralize odors, and balance your skin's pH level.

- Herbs: There are many herbs that can enhance your bath tea experience. Some examples are chamomile, lavender, rosemary, mint, rose petals, calendula, and lemon balm. Herbs can provide aromatherapy, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties.

- Essential oils: These oils can add fragrance and therapeutic benefits to your bath tea. Some examples are lavender, rose, eucalyptus, peppermint, and tea tree. Essential oils can help calm your nerves, uplift your spirits, clear your sinuses, and fight infections.

To use your bath tea, you can either add it directly to your bath water or steep it in a pot of boiling water for 15 minutes and then pour the infusion into your tub. If you add the herbs directly to the water, **be careful not to clog your drain** (You can use a drain trap to help prevent this) or make a mess in your tub. You may want to use a muslin bag or a tea bag to contain the herbs. Enjoy your bath tea for 20 to 30 minutes and rinse off with clean water afterwards.
